Tue, Sep 19 : TRS Government is making plans to go for Nalgonda MP by-polls, to test their strength before 2019 general elections. The party is focussing on implementation of welfare schemes across seven assembly segments in the district, before the election code comes into the fore.

CM KCR has agreed for by-polls as Nalgonda MP Gutta Sukendar Reddy would resign from his seat soon. The government had sanctioned Rs 19 crore for laying BT roads in the district in this connection.

Ministers will be appointed as In-charges for Assembly segment. It is learnt that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will address a massive open public meeting here. High command is making strategies to involve Ministers Harish Rao, KTR and MP Kavitha by taking out Rallies and organising public meetings.
