Shock to Congress senior leader Jana Reddy in election campaign

People gives a shock to Congress senior leader K. Jana Reddy in his own Assembly constituency in election campaign. K Jana Reddy who is the Congress candidate from Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency, faced the ire of the people during his campaign. The residents Nagarjunapet questioned Jana Reddy about the developmental works done by him as MLA during the last 35 years. and they asked why he did not make efforts to bring any lift irrigation scheme to their area.
Jana Reddy lost his temper and made abusive comments against the youth who questioned him. Angered by his outburst, the women raised strong objection over the remarks made by the senior Congress leader. They also alleged that Jana Reddy did nothing for the development of the area or for the welfare of the people including Congress members. The villagers alleged that Jana Reddy had utterly failed in developing the constituency.
Some youngsters pointed out that they were not getting irrigation facility or drinking water despite the fact that Krishna river was close to their hamlet.An irritated Jana Reddy told the people that he was not there to listen to them. “I will say what I want and you people have no right to speak about development,” he said, adding that if they didn’t like his voice, they could go to leaders who were willing to listen to them.
When a youth protested against his language, Jana Reddy directed the Congress workers to chase him out of the place, shouting ‘Unko Hatavo’. He warned the people of the hamlet that he would take his revenge soon. With the villagers unrelenting, Jana Reddy had to make an exit without any speech.
