TS Polls: Election Commission to visit Hyderabad today

Hyderabad: Ahead of Telangana Assembly elections, Election Commission of India to visit Hyderabad today to review the arrangements being made for upcoming assembly elections on December 7. The Chief Election Commissioner OP Rawat accompanied by two officials Ashok Lavasa and Sunil Arora will visit city today.
The EC team will hold a meeting with Telangana Chief Electoral Officer Rajath Kumar at Hotel Taj Krishna in Banjara Hills from 6 pm to 7 pm. Later, a meeting with the leaders of different political parties is scheduled from 7.30 pm to 9 pm.The EC team which is on a two-day visit to the city will assess the poll machinery with District Election Officers, Superintendents of Police and IGs.
