CM KCR rushed to Delhi for medical tests

Just a day after AP CM Chandrababu Naidu wound up his New Delhi tour during which he met a host of political leaders, Telangana caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao left for the national capital on Sunday evening.Though the reason given for his Delhi visit, which could last for two or more days, was for undergoing eye and dental related medical tests, his sudden visit to Delhi has raised many an eyebrow in political circles.
As the 64-year-old leader will be busy with election campaigning in the coming days, he was advised to undergo necessary tests by the doctors, said an official statement, explaining the reason behind KCR dashing off to the national capital at a time when leaders in the State are busy with election strategies and campaigns.
With the political temperatures soaring in Telangana ahead of the elections, KCR’s visit to Delhi assumes significance, though TRS party leaders and insiders maintained that it was purely for medical reasons and nothing more.
