Tree Was Burnt down Due To Lightning and Heavy Rain

A palmyrah palm tree was burnt down, as it caught fire due to heavy lighting in the thunderstorm that struck several parts of Telangana, last night. The tree in Munuganur of Hayatnagar area in Rangareddy district, caught fire and burnt, images of which some residents captured in their cell phones.

Lightning and heavy rain, accompanied by swift gales struck several parts of Hyderabad last night, bringing down trees and disrupting traffic. Many localities faced power cuts until late in the night.
