College student goes missing

Hyderabad: A 16-year-old student of FIITJEE Institute at Madhapur went missing from college on Saturday. The police said the boy identified as R. Sauri Satya Saketh came to the college on Saturday but didn't return home. A missing case has been registered. According to the police, Saketh a resident of Sriram nagar colony at Alwal and studying FIITJEE at Madhapur.

On Saturday morning, his father, S. Ravi dropped him at the college and came in the night to pick him at 8.30 pm and found that Saketh was not in the college. When he inquired with the college management, they told him that Saketh was in the college till 4.30 pm, but left later.

He later tried to call on Saketh’s mobile number, but it was switched off. He inquired with his friends and relatives but in vain and later lodged a complaint with Madhapur Police.

A missing case was registered and teams were deputed to rescue the boy. Police said that so far there is no clear reason why Saketh had gone missing from the college.

“Teams are searching for him and also analysing his call data records for any clues. Once we talk to his friends, we may get some clues,” the  investigating officials said.
